Much of what they cite in the article as reasons to watch Omaha’s housing market is nothing new to us, but the recognition is nice all the same. We made the list for several factors, not the least of which are as follows:

  • The number of homes sold increased by nearly 18% in October of 2020, compared to the same month the previous year.

  • Inventory has drastically declined from 2,070 homes for sale in October of 2019, down by almost half to 1,067 a year later in 2020.

  • During the same time period, the pace at which homes sold also increased dramatically. 48.3% of homes on the market sold within two weeks. A year later, that share increased to 71.6%.

Thanks for the recognition, Forbes!
